How do you pull out in front of a tank, they aren’t exactly quiet? I would assume they wouldn’t be moving a vehicle like that very fast on public roads, like 40mpg tops(I don’t know what the top speed of a tank like that is).
Maybe the tanks camo(this one isn’t even really camouflaged) worked too well and the driver of the Toyota had some VERY loud music.

I know! Honestly, my guess is new driver panic. A lot of new drivers tend to have that issue where they panic and either overreact or like in this case under react and sit there.
I had an ex girlfriend who once convinced me to let her drive a 911 I had on loan from a family friend for a couple months. I told her one spin around the block in this new subdivision with no cars. We swap seats and start to go around the block, on the last corner there was a backhoe coming from ahead with no stop signs. She turned left right into it’s path and stopped due to panic of it “being too close”. I reached over and hit her foot off the break and reach down for the gas (I’m 6ft 3 with long limbs) and we went up on the sidewalk - a lot better than being hit. We had plenty of time if she didn’t panic, and guess who I dropped off for the last time? haha

I can see that.
